Most people who switch to A2 ghee say the same thing: they didn't expect to notice a difference. They thought ghee was ghee. These cows produce milk containing a beta-casein protein called A1. When A1 beta-casein is digested, it releases a peptide called BCM-7 (beta-casomorphin-7).
